Why this site

This website exists so that even if many films fail, not a single deserving good film should go unrecognised. More than calling out bad films, our main purpose is to introduce the excellent films you really ought to see. If you love a film and feel it is not succeeding enough in theatres, you can share your review of it here. Over time, we hope a strong community of film lovers who champion good cinema will take shape on this platform.

We Malayalis often decide whether to watch a film after watching YouTube reviews. But many films that YouTubers rated as bad later felt excellent to audiences. The thought that deserving good films fail in theatres only because of some online reviews is the main reason this website came to be.

This is not meant to blame YouTubers. We also include assessments from excellent YouTube critics such as Mallu Analyst. Even so, every individual review has its own limits. That is why we are building a public film-review platform with everyone's participation.

Here you can see our team's review along with the average rating from ordinary viewers (public users). To help ensure that people record an opinion only after watching the film, we include a few simple questions about the movie before they write a review.

Here we look at the quality of reviews more than the number of reviews. That is why submitting a review here is not an easy process like reviews on ticket-booking apps.

You can also publish detailed articles and film criticism here. That will strengthen the credibility and authenticity of the reviews. We hope this becomes a strong alternative to a YouTube review culture that often moves in the same direction, like a chain reaction.
