Our review
Premam is less a love story than the texture of a decade. Alphonse Puthren’s camera, Rajesh Murugesan’s songs, and Nivin Pauly’s unforced performance share one breath. The sweetness of the second chapter makes the quiet of the third heavier. It is uneven on its women, and still it rewrote how Malayalam cinema spoke to the young.
