Our review
I watched Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups yesterday after seeing many negative reviews. Despite that, I still had faith in Geethu Mohandas, Rajeev Ravi, and Yash, knowing the amount of talent, effort, and money invested in this project. The film completely stunned me. I kept wondering why so many people were dismissing such a beautifully crafted film. This is not a typical mass-action, adrenaline-rush entertainer. At its core, Toxic is about relationships, human nature, and psychological complexity. It explores violence, love, desire, power, and emotional conflict—not as crowd-pleasing elements, but as meaningful parts of the story. Nothing feels included merely for commercial appeal. What impressed me most is how deeply the film explores human emotions, thoughts, inner conflicts, and psychological scars. It examines how people react to trauma, love, ambition, and loss, presenting characters with depth and complexity rather than simple heroes and villains. I found Toxic to be an epic film—not because of its scale alone, but because of the emotional and psychological depth it brings to its relationships and characters. Few films attempt to explore love, human conflict, and emotional struggles in such a layered way. If you enjoy epic cinema with strong emotional themes and deep character conflicts rather than straightforward mass entertainment, I would highly recommend giving Toxic a chance and forming your own opinion

ഒരുപാട് നെഗറ്റീവ് റിവ്യൂകൾ കണ്ട ശേഷമാണ് ഞാൻ Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups കണ്ടത്. പക്ഷേ ചിത്രം എന്നെ അമ്പരപ്പിച്ചു. ഇത് ഒരു സാധാരണ മാസ്-ആക്ഷൻ എന്റർടെയ്നറല്ല; ബന്ധങ്ങൾ, മനുഷ്യ മനഃശാസ്ത്രം, ട്രോമ, പ്രണയം, അധികാരം, വൈകാരിക സംഘർഷങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയെ ആഴത്തിൽ പരിശോധിക്കുന്ന സിനിമയാണ്. അക്രമവും പ്രണയവും ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ഘടകങ്ങൾ വെറും കയ്യടി നേടാനല്ല, കഥയുടെ ഭാഗമായാണ് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ സങ്കീർണ്ണവും ആഴമുള്ളതുമാണ്. എനിക്ക് Toxic ഒരു ഇതിഹാസതുല്യ (epic) ചിത്രമായി തോന്നി, കാരണം അതിന്റെ വൈകാരികവും മനഃശാസ്ത്രപരവുമായ ആഴമാണ്. മാസ് എന്റർടെയ്ൻമെന്റിന് അപ്പുറം, ശക്തമായ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളും വികാരങ്ങളും ഉള്ള സിനിമകൾ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നവർ തീർച്ചയായും ഈ ചിത്രം കണ്ടു സ്വന്തം അഭിപ്രായം രൂപീകരിക്കണം.
